Operator and scope
App Ads Insights is operated by emonster, inc. ("emonster", "we", "us"), the US company. We determine how information is used to run this public website and waitlist. This notice supplements the emonster Privacy Policy for this product.
The current site provides product information, legal pages, privacy settings and a waitlist. It does not collect Apple credentials, campaign reports, App Store Connect data or payment details, and does not provide customer accounts, campaign recommendations or subscriptions. Those are planned product capabilities, with separate data handling to be explained before they become available.
Information and its sources
You provide your email address, language, Terms acceptance and separate optional marketing choice. We store a normalized contact address, original signup time, notice and purpose versions, and the choices with their versions and recorded times. A product-specific keyed identifier helps recognize duplicates.
If you allow optional analytics, a new signup also includes coarse browser, operating-system and device categories, the first-party landing path, limited campaign fields and the referring website’s origin. Declined or unset analytics choices exclude these details.
Separately, the hosting infrastructure may provide approximate country and region. We send the request IP address to IPinfo Lite to infer country and continent. We retain the limited location result and successful lookup metadata when available. This lookup is separate from optional browser analytics.
Resend returns delivery identifiers and events used for receipt and internal-notification delivery status, retries and suppression. If you contact us, we receive the address, message and other information you choose to provide.
How we use information
Joining does not create an account, verify mailbox ownership or authorize unrelated newsletters. We do not use waitlist data to create advertising audiences, precise-location profiles or cross-product marketing profiles. Accepting Terms is distinct from choosing marketing or analytics.
- Manage and de-duplicate the App Ads Insights waitlist, acknowledge registration and send the launch notification you requested.
- Send product news and offers only when you choose the separate optional marketing checkbox.
- Understand aggregate demand and language needs; use optional browser and acquisition context only when you allow it.
- Protect the form from abuse, manage email delivery and suppression, and respond to support or privacy requests.
Service providers and recipients
Google and Firebase provide App Hosting, backend functions, Firestore, secret storage and reCAPTCHA Enterprise abuse assessment when configured. Resend sends your signup receipt and a separate internal registration notification to our team. That internal message includes the submitted address, signup reference, language, notice and consent evidence, and approximate country and continent. IPinfo receives the raw request IP for the location lookup described above.
Cloudflare handles public-site delivery and the network requests needed to serve the site.
Provider delivery identifiers, bounded status and suppression events support mail handling. The application does not store email open or click events. Providers may separately process network, account, security and diagnostic information under their applicable terms and privacy practices.
The emonster Privacy Policy also describes disclosures for applicable legal requirements, protection of rights and business transfers.
Browser storage, privacy settings and security signals
The site stores language and explicit Light or Dark appearance choices locally. Selecting System removes the explicit theme override. A first-party language cookie helps preserve your selected public language. There is no customer authentication session on this public site.
Privacy settings saves the optional analytics choice in this browser. The current site does not activate Google Analytics or another external analytics client. Your choice controls limited context included with future submissions; it does not erase or change an earlier signup. Contact us about previously submitted information.
The server uses the source IP transiently for rate limiting and the separate IPinfo lookup. Rotating keyed abuse records expire within 24 hours. A hidden form field, reCAPTCHA assessment and a short-lived completion-timing token help assess abuse. The timing token stays in page memory, expires within 10 minutes and is not a cookie. When reCAPTCHA runs, Google uses the _GRECAPTCHA cookie for risk analysis.
Raw IP addresses, raw user-agent strings, full referrers or URLs, bot tokens and scores, timing tokens and hidden-field content are not stored with a signup. This does not mean infrastructure providers produce no operational logs.
Retention and deletion
Signup records carry an expiry 24 months after original creation. Duplicate submissions do not extend that expiry. Firestore TTL deletion is asynchronous, so expiry is not an exact deletion deadline. Abuse records expire within 24 hours. Aggregates carry a 36-month expiry from the reporting period’s end and suppress groups below 10 signups.
A valid repeat submission can record new Terms acceptance or a changed marketing choice without replacing the original signup context or sending another receipt. Marketing unsubscribe changes the communication preference; it does not delete the signup. Clearing browser storage also does not delete server data.
For access, correction, deletion, withdrawal from the launch list or questions about retained delivery and support information, contact [email protected]. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity where needed before disclosing or changing personal data.
Security and international processing
The implementation uses private server-side persistence, restricted service identities, denied direct browser database access and server-only keyed identifiers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
emonster and its providers operate internationally. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where the relevant services operate, whose laws may differ from those where you live. Your choices and rights
Marketing is optional and initially unchecked. Use the marketing unsubscribe link included when you opt in, or contact us to withdraw that choice. To withdraw a requested launch notification or address information already stored, contact [email protected]. Declining optional analytics does not prevent signup.
Where the GDPR applies, rights and conditions include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, consent withdrawal and a complaint to a supervisory authority. See our GDPR page for the conditions and request process. Other applicable privacy laws may also provide rights.
